[Repost from September 18, 2014] We all do it. We screw up. And this morning, I totally blew it!
I did not show up for class this morning. I can’t imagine who ever woke up early and waited in the parking lot for me to arrive until such time that you decided that I was a no show. My sincere apologies! I am embarrassed. To the early risers who showed up this morning, please email me at [email protected] to receive two free classes: next Thursday and the Thursday after as well as as much Yogi Tea as you can consume (and take a thermos with you!). With much love, Jodh

What does chanting mean to you? We can read about all of the mind/body/spiritual benefits of chanting. We know meditation is good for us, but what does it really do for you? How do you feel after chanting? After we chant together, as a community on Sunday mornings, I often marvel at the moments where I could just be. Where I wasn’t thinking about what I needed to pick up from the store, or what meal to make, or what I need to do for the rest of the day, week, month… you get the picture. It is in those moments that I experience pure joy, love, peace and yes, bliss. I feel connected to God and the Infinite. I feel connected to the earth and my community. I’m connected and grounded and yet feel ethereal. Chanting has become such a regular part of my life that I will chant a mantra when I need to and may not even notice. When I’m worried, I’ll chant. When I am feeling compassion, I chant. When I am sad or angry, I chant. When I want to strengthen myself or someone around me, I chant. I chant at work, at home, in the car, when I’m running, no matter where I am, I use mantra. Chanting helps me be a more loving and compassionate soul. It has taken me out of anger, hurt and despair and healed me. My gratitude is immeasurable and this is why I share this technology with others. Have you tried chanting? What has it done for you? |
